Wine Label Review-Blasted Church: Wino Shirt Club

Blasted Church in the Okanagan Valley of Canada has some of the coolest labels we've seen.  Back in the 1920's, a crew was tasked with dismantling a nearby church.  In order to make their lives easier they detonated a few sticks of dynamite to help loosen the nails.  Makes for a pretty cool story and a great name for the winery. The scenes and the characters are so rich in color and detail.  They have the look of claymation figures and tell some really interesting stories.  This one here depicts the crew setting off the explosives and most of their other labels are loosely connected to the same theme.  Their website and other labels are very creative...marketing genius if you ask me.  I highly recommend you pay them a visit.
